About Dr. Plost
Brielle Plost, MD, specializes in pediatric orthopedic surgery and complex hip surgery. Dr. Plost treats all areas of pediatric orthopedics including fractures, clubfoot, limb deformity and scoliosis, and has a special interest in hip preservation and complex hip surgery in both children and young adults. Her areas of expertise include hip dysplasia (DDH) and impingement (FAI), Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, avascular necrosis (AVN), slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) and skeletal dysplasias. She also has specialized training in complex hip surgeries and hip preservation surgery, including periacetabular osteotomy (PAO), surgical hip dislocation and many osteotomies around the hip.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, experiencing all of the wonderful food and music New Orleans has to offer, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns!
